The Ballachulish Bridge is a bridge in the West Highlands of Scotland. It crosses the narrows between Loch Leven and Loch Linnhe, linking the villages of South Ballachulish (Argyll) and North Ballachulish (Inverness-shire). It carries the A82 road, the main route between Glasgow and Inverness.
The bridge was built by the Cleveland Bridge & Engineering Company and opened inreplacing Crosses: Loch Leven and Loch Linnhe. The Ballachulish ferry closed in December when the Ballachulish Bridge finally opened.
The Ballachulish Hotel and Ballachulish House (until recently [] a country house hotel) are located near the narrows at (south) Ballachulish Ferry rather than in the "modern" village some 3 miles (5 km) east.
Ballachulish House was reputed to be Council area: Highland. The Ballachulish Bridge opened in replacing the Ballachulish ferry. It spans the narrows between Loch Leven and Loch Linnhe, linking the villages of.

The Ballachulish ferry was a major bottleneck on the route north through the highlands. At the time, the A82 followed the edge of Loch Leven and although the distance the ferry took was only about half a mile or so, the road detour could take the best bit of a couple of hours on a bad day.
